Dr. Sergio Castillo, MD
Director of Clinical Operations
Dr. Sergio Castillo is the Director of Clinical Operations at Helimedic, bringing over 20 years of expertise in emergency medicine and internal medicine to the role. As a board-certified internist, Dr. Castillo has held multiple leadership positions, including Medical Director for prominent emergency departments in Florida and across the United States. His responsibilities have included improving clinical protocols, recruiting and training medical staff, and implementing strategies to enhance operational efficiency and patient care outcomes.
Dr. Castillo is recognized for his hands-on approach to leadership, which has contributed to reducing patient wait times, improving sepsis response rates, and increasing overall patient satisfaction scores in the facilities he has managed. In addition to his clinical achievements, Dr. Castillo has served as an assistant professor at several universities, mentoring medical students and young physicians. With a career spanning over two decades, Dr. Eidenberg has managed medical operations in high-stakes environments, including Iraq and the Marshall Islands, where he served as Chief Medical Officer.

As a certified flight paramedic and FAA Part 135 compliance specialist, Mr. Downard has played a critical role in ensuring regulatory compliance and operational safety in air medical transport.
